3D Printed Replacement Parts

3D printed parts to replace broken or obsolete ones, remade by reverse engineering from your sample or photos.

Spares for appliances, machinery, vehicles and equipment, made in our North East workshop and delivered across the UK. One spare or a repeat batch, no minimum order.

3D printed parts and spares we can make

  • Replacement parts from a sample, broken pieces or photos
  • Weak points strengthened where possible
  • Materials for heat, UV, flex or wear
  • Single spares or repeat batches

Reverse Engineering Service

Our UK reverse engineering service rebuilds worn, broken or discontinued parts in CAD from the original, photos or measurements.

You get a clean CAD model, a 3D printed replacement, or both, with wear and known weak points corrected where possible.

What our reverse engineering service includes

  • Measuring the original part
  • CAD reconstruction from damaged samples
  • Correcting wear or weak points
  • Prototype fit check
  • Editable CAD model if you need it
  • Functional 3D printed reproduction

From sample, photo or measurements to CAD and a finished part

  • Review & measure: We check the original and measure hole centres and mounting points.
  • Rebuild in CAD: A clean parametric model, with wear and damage allowed for.
  • Fit check: A test print where needed, checked against your sample or feedback.
  • Final parts: The agreed part or repeat batch, 3D printed and posted.

Suitable applications

  • Obsolete plastic components
  • Broken brackets and clips
  • Machinery guides
  • Appliance parts
  • Equipment mounts
  • Covers and housings
  • Automotive trim
  • Discontinued accessories

What you can provide

  • The original or broken pieces (best)
  • Photos of the part and where it fits
  • Any known dimensions
  • Quantity needed

How the process works

  • Send a photo or sample: Photos, measurements or the original part through the quote form.
  • Quote: We confirm it can be made, plus price, material and lead time.
  • Make: Rebuilt in CAD, fit-checked where needed, then 3D printed.
  • Delivery or collection: Tracked UK courier, or collect locally.

Lead times and turnaround

Lead times depend on the part’s condition, measurement complexity, fit checks and quantity. They are confirmed in your quotation.

3D Printed Replacement Parts: common questions

Can you make a replacement for a broken plastic part?

Yes. Send us the broken part, the pieces or photos with any known dimensions. We measure it, rebuild it in CAD and 3D print a replacement in a material suited to how it is used.

Can you make a part from a photo or a sample?

Photos with a few key measurements are enough to start a quote. For an accurate fit, the original part, broken pieces or the part it fits onto is recommended, because photos alone may not show every dimension.

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can order a single part, a replacement or a small batch. There are no tooling costs, and larger quantities are planned around your project.

Do you make safety-critical parts?

We may decline safety-critical or regulated components. A reproduced part is not automatically equivalent to an OEM-certified component, so we discuss the part’s use before quoting.

Can you recreate a part that is no longer made?

Often, yes. We recreate damaged, worn, discontinued and hard-to-find components by measuring the original, rebuilding it in CAD and 3D printing a replacement. Not every part can be reproduced, and we may decline safety-critical or regulated components.

How long does reverse engineering take?

A simple sample typically takes 2–3 working days and a complex component 3–5 working days, depending on its condition, measurement complexity and any prototype fit checks.
